The Cabinet of Ministers has established one-time payments for Independence Day

According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians will receive one-time cash payments by Independence Day. Payments are provided for war veterans, victims of Nazi persecution and families of fallen defenders, informs representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.
One-time assistance for the Independence Day of Ukraine will be paid until August 24, 2025 in the following amounts:
- persons with disabilities as a result of the war and former juvenile prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos and other places of forced detention, who were recognized as persons with disabilities for various reasons: Group I — 3,100 hryvnias; II group — 2,900 hryvnias; III group — 2,700 hryvnias;
- participants in hostilities, injured participants of the Revolution of Dignity, former minor prisoners, as well as children born in places of forced detention of their parents — 1,000 hryvnias;
- persons who have special merits for the Motherland — 3,100 hryvnias;
- to family members of deceased (deceased) war veterans, deceased defenders of Ukraine, spouses (husbands) of deceased persons with disabilities as a result of the war and participants in hostilities who did not remarry — 650 hryvnias;
- to participants in the war, former prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos, places of forced detention, persons who were taken to forced labor, as well as children of partisans and underground – 450 hryvnias.
We would like to remind you that financial aid for Independence Day in Ukraine is paid annually. In 2024, 471,000 pensioners who were automatically paid by the Pension Fund received such assistance.
