The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has simplified the procedure for importing explosives and other components used in the production of ammunition. About this reported Ministry of Strategic Industries.
Changes were made to Resolution No. 763 of the CMU “On the implementation of an experimental project on the production, procurement and supply of ammunition.” The updated regulations simplify the procedure for importing explosives, initiating means, as well as products and devices containing explosives for manufacturers who do not have valid contracts with the state.
In order to take advantage of the simplified import procedure, the enterprise must be included in the Electronic Register of selection and executors of state contracts. For this, it is necessary to submit an appropriate application to the Ministry of Strategic Industries. Within five days from the moment of submission, the ministry checks the enterprise’s compliance with the conditions of the experimental project and its presence in the register.
In the case of a positive check, the Ministry of Strategy and Industry sends a confirmation to the State Export Control Service of Ukraine, which, based on the received documents, makes a decision on granting or refusing to issue a one-time import permit.

These changes make it possible to accelerate the import of explosives and other critical components. Considering the global shortage of these goods, the acceleration of their supply to Ukraine is significant strengthening the production of ammunition.
