The chief accountant of the “Subsoil of Ukraine” received suspicion due to losses of almost 2.8 million hryvnias

The chief accountant of the Nadra Ukrainy company was charged with official negligence, as a result of which the company suffered losses in the amount of almost 2.8 million hryvnias. About this reported Headquarters of the National Police in the city of Kyiv.
The investigation established that the “Nadra of Ukraine” company owned buildings and a plot of land in the center of Kyiv, which in 2007 were sold to several private companies under a sales contract.
According to the investigators, the chief accountant, knowing for a fact that the company no longer owns these objects and does not use them, continued to draw up and sign documents for the payment of land tax between 2018 and 2022. As a result, the company made baseless payments every year for real estate, which it did not actually use, which led to losses in the amount of almost 2.8 million hryvnias.
Investigators, under the procedural leadership of the Shevchenkiv District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv, informed the official of suspicion of official negligence. He faces punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to five years with restriction of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to three years.
