On December 25, after the Russian attack in Ukraine, heat supply interruptions were recorded in several regions. About this informs Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction Oleksiy Kuleba.
“On Christmas Day, the Russian Federation launched a massive attack on Ukraine’s energy system. The goal is to leave Ukrainians without heat, water, and electricity. More than 70 missiles, more than 100 missiles. Under attack are Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kirovohrad, Poltava, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. Despite the work of air defense, unfortunately, is to hit,” – says the message.
The most difficult situation is in the Kharkiv region, where about 500,000 consumers living in 2,677 houses were left without heat. In Dnipro and Zelenodolsk of Dnipropetrovsk region, there is no heat supply in 55 and 100 houses, respectively. In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, residents of 81 houses remained without heating.
The mass attack also left the city of Kalush in Ivano-Frankivsk region without heat and water, and part of the region was left without electricity. Specialists are working to restore heat as quickly as possible.
“An attack on the day of one of the biggest Christian holidays only confirms that Russia despises humanity. Their faith rests on violence and death. There will be responsibility for every crime – inevitable and just.”, – stressed Oleksiy Kuleba.
