The delegation of the National Police of Ukraine paid a visit to colleagues from the United States

The delegation of the National Police of Ukraine took part in the annual conference of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and bilateral meetings in the states of Illinois, Florida and New York. About this informs press service of the National Police.
The delegation of the National Police of Ukraine presented to their American colleagues the experience of Ukrainian law enforcement officers in the conditions of a full-scale war. During the meeting, the parties shared practices and discussed prospects for cooperation.
The Ukrainian delegation included Deputy Head of the National Police – Chief of the Criminal Police Andriy Nebytov and Chief of the Investigative Department of the National Security Service of the Kharkiv Region, Serhii Bolvinov. The visit took place at the invitation and financial support of philanthropist Howard Buffett.
At the beginning of the trip, representatives of the National Police visited the police academy in Chicago, getting acquainted with the work of law enforcement agencies in the state of Illinois. They also visited the Bolek Training Facility, an international training center for law enforcement agencies founded by Howard Buffett.
An entire training city with buildings, transport infrastructure, training areas for divers, service dogs and combat training has been created on the territory of the 34-hectare complex, which allows law enforcement officers to practice their skills in conditions close to real ones.

During the ICAT conference in Clearwater (Florida), Andrii Nebytov spoke about the activities of the National Police in wartime conditions. He paid special attention to the work of combat police brigades on the front lines, evacuation units, documenting Russian war crimes, demining liberated territories and countering sabotage by the Russian special services.
At the end of the visit, Andrii Nebitov expressed his gratitude to the American policemen for their support. The parties agreed on further cooperation and exchange of information in the field of criminal investigations and countering transnational crime.
