The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine has updated information on the average level of wages and the number of employees of state bodies, local administrations and the judiciary. According to data for October 2024, the average salary in state bodies amounted to 57.5 thousand hryvnias. About this informs Ministry of Finance.
Compared to the beginning of the year, the average salary increased by 49%. In January, it amounted to 38.6 thousand hryvnias. Thus, the salary of civil servants exceeds the average level of salaries in Ukraine by more than three times. According to the Pension Fund, in September the average salary in Ukraine was 18,000 hryvnias.
Among state institutions, the employees of the Antimonopoly Committee receive the highest average salary, where the average income of an employee is 113.7 thousand hryvnias. In total, 270 people work in the department, and the salary of the management reaches 218.4 thousand hryvnias.
The second position is occupied by the Ministry of Digital Transformation, where the average salary level is 88.5 thousand hryvnias for 198 employees. In third place is the State Tourism Development Agency, where the average salary reached 87.7 thousand hryvnias. Only 22 people work in this agency.
In the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers, the average salary is 67.3 thousand hryvnias, and the number of salaried employees is 680. At the same time, managers receive an average of 103.4 thousand hryvnias.
