The EU offered Ukraine its agreement on minerals

During his visit to Kyiv, European Commissioner for Industrial Strategy Stefan Séjourne proposed to Ukrainian government officials an agreement on critical minerals that would be beneficial for both parties. About this informs AFP.
Ukraine has significant reserves of minerals, including manganese, titanium, graphite and lithium, which has become the subject of active negotiations between Kyiv and Washington. US President Donald Trump insists that the United States deserves “its money back” for helping Ukraine defend itself against Russian aggression.
The European Commissioner noted that during the visit he offered Kyiv an alternative agreement:
“21 out of 30 critical materials that Europe needs can be provided by Ukraine in a mutually beneficial partnership. The added value that Europe offers is that we will never ask for a deal that is not mutually beneficial.”
We will remind that on February 24, Donald Trump said that he is ready to meet Volodymyr Zelenskyi at the White House “this week or next” to sign an agreement on the use of minerals.
