The government has provided the opportunity to generate referrals to the military medical commission without the signature of the head of the territorial recruitment center.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved changes to Resolution No. 560, which update the procedure for passing the Military Medical Commission (MMC). Now it is possible to generate a referral to the VLK without the signature of the head of the TCC. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Defense.
Previously, electronic referrals were generated in the “Reserve+” application and required the imposition of an electronic signature by the head of the territorial procurement center. According to the new changes, users will be able to initiate the passing of the VLC without having to wait for the signature of the head of the TCC, if they have their own desire to pass the medical commission.
In addition, the innovations strengthen the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities in interaction with VLK. From now on, the TCC has no right to refer such persons to the medical commission. They can undergo the examination only voluntarily, for example, if they want to serve under a contract. The list of documents confirming the right to deferment for women and men raising three or more children under the age of 18 was also specified.
“The changes made to the regulations are important. They will help to optimize and speed up the passage of the VLK. This way, people will be able to save their time, and TCC employees will be able to reduce the amount of administrative work.” – explained Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitization.
We will remind that from January 31, 2025, the function of creating an electronic referral for passing the military medical commission (MMC) appeared in the “Reserve+” application. At the same time, the possibility of obtaining a paper version of the document remains valid. The new function can be used by conscripted citizens who have not yet received a summons to pass the VLK.
