The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called the security warnings of embassies in Kyiv “escalation”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reacted to the information about the transition of the US Embassy and several other foreign diplomatic institutions in Ukraine to the remote mode of work, calling it “information injection”.
As noted the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heorhiy Tyhiy, the threat of shelling from Russia has been a daily reality for Ukrainians for more than a thousand days.
“On this 1,001st day of a full-scale invasion, the threat of Russian shelling is as relevant as it was on the previous thousand days. We believe that it would be correct for partners to respond on the 1,001st day in the same way as on the previous thousand days, without any what additional information injection”, – he underlined.
Tychy called on the citizens of Ukraine to remain vigilant, to observe safety rules, not to ignore air warning signals, and to quickly go to shelters in the event of a threat. He also emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is in constant contact with international partners to assess and respond to possible security risks.
We will remind that earlier the US Embassy in Ukraine announced the transition to remote work due to a warning about a possible large-scale air attack on November 20. Subsequently, similar security measures were implemented by the embassies of Spain, Greece and Italy.
