The court released on bail in the amount of UAH 904,000 ex-deputy Sysoenko, who earned more than UAH 40 million for registering a non-existent disability
The former member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Samopomich party was released on Friday, June 7, on bail of more than 900,000 hryvnias. People’s deputy Iryna Sysoenko was taken into custody on June 3 on suspicion of organizing a large-scale scheme that helped citizens evade mobilization.
The Holosiiv District Court of Kyiv chose a preventive measure for the former parliamentarian in the form of detention with the possibility of paying bail in the amount of 904 thousand hryvnias. The people’s representative, who is accused of fraud and corruption, was released from custody after paying bail.
Iryna Sysoenko is suspected of organizing a large-scale scheme to evade mobilization. During the detention, the Security Service of Ukraine seized 40 million hryvnias in cash from the people. According to the suspicion, Sysoenko, together with her accomplices, helped citizens who wanted to evade mobilization to establish disability in connection with their professional activities.
According to the investigation, the former member of parliament received about 100,000 dollars per month from the scheme.
The intermediary of Iryna Sysoenko from Lviv Oblast was granted bail in the amount of 250,000 hryvnias. Another accomplice of the perpetrators, a doctor from the Lviv region, received a preventive measure in the form of night house arrest.
The investigation into the case of the former elected official from “Samopochi” continues.
