As of August 1, 2024, the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund (FGVFO) has paid more than 96% of guaranteed compensation to all depositors of banks that are in the process of liquidation. This is stated in the official messages Fund.
These payments apply to depositors who applied for a guaranteed amount. Payments are made at the expense of the Fund’s own resources, which is an important component of the protection of depositors’ rights.
As of August 1, 2024, the Fund has accumulated UAH 38.4 billion, which is enough to ensure payments of 100% of guaranteed deposits.
In July 2024, the Fund reimbursed depositors UAH 9.97 million. In particular, depositors of the following banks received payments:
- JSC “Megabank” — UAH 2.13 million,
- “Bank Forward” JSC — UAH 1.69 million,
- JSC “MR Bank” — UAH 1.58 million,
- AT “JSCB “Concord” – 1.55 million UAH,
- JSC “Ukrbudinvestbank” — UAH 1.33 million.
For the period from January to July 2024, the total amount of guaranteed payments amounted to UAH 97.28 million.
