In Ukraine, a tender for the purchase of domestic FPV drones was announced for the first time: Fedorov
The presence of competition will allow the state to buy UAVs at the most favorable price.

For the first time, the state announced the purchase of Ukrainian drones through Prozorro, reported Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister of Digital Transformation. These are high-tech FPV drones that use machine vision to precisely navigate and attack targets.
The military actively uses FPV drones on the battlefield. Almost all drones for the Armed Forces are developed in Ukraine, a significant part of this sector is occupied by private business, Deputy Minister of Defense Dmytro Klimenkov reported.
Bidding will take place through a closed Prozorro module, where all sensitive information will be hidden. Fedorov called on manufacturers to put their drones up for auction. It is expected that due to competition, the state will be able to purchase drones at the most favorable price, which will give Ukrainian manufacturers the opportunity to increase their profits and scale their business.
When using an FPV drone, the pilot identifies the target, points the drone at it, and the drone can attack even in the absence of signals. That is, even if the operator loses contact with the drone, he will complete the task on his own.
In February of this year, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution on defense purchases, which will take place according to a competitive procedure through the closed module of the Prozorro system. The decision also applies to foreign manufacturers of mass drone suppliers, such as Mavic, Autel and Matrice, creating a level playing field for access to government contracts and driving costs down through competition.
