The Minister of Justice told what tasks the mobilized prisoners will perform

The Armed Forces of Ukraine will create special units in which prisoners who agreed to be mobilized will be able to serve.
This was announced by the Minister of Justice Denys Malyuska in ether telethon
According to him, legislation has already been created in Ukraine that guarantees the effective implementation of this initiative.
“This is not only a voluntary, contractual form of service, but also the creation of separate units where those who were released from prisons will serve“, Malyuska explained.
The Minister of Justice emphasized that such units will not participate in hostilities, but will perform tasks that do not require the use of weapons.
“The modern army is not only about shooting from a machine gun. That’s a lot of physical work that doesn’t require the use of weapons 24/7“, he noted.
Malyuska believes that ex-prisoners will be able to effectively perform work on the construction of infrastructure, engineering and defense structures.
“Our soldiers dig a lot, I think that here our “educated” can give a head start to many soldiers“, he emphasized.
