Members of the resistance movement who have been captured will be able to receive the status of UBI: Ministry of Defense
Members of the resistance movement, who were in captivity, can now receive the status of a participant in hostilities (UBD). About this reported press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“Persons released from captivity who voluntarily and confidentially participated in the tasks of the resistance movement by the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can apply for the status, with the exception of those who voluntarily surrendered to the enemy. The updated Procedure also clarifies the grounds for granting this status.” – the message says.
The updated Procedure also provides for changes in the composition of the special commission, which makes decisions on granting the status of UBD. The disbanded Personnel Center of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is excluded from its composition. In addition, not only commanders of military units, but also military personnel can join the work of the commission.
