The Ministry of Defense codified the PROTECTOR unmanned ground complex

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine officially codified and allowed the use of the PROTECTOR unmanned ground complex in the Armed Forces.
This heavy unmanned ground complex, developed by a domestic enterprise based on the real combat experience of the Ukrainian military, is designed to ensure the safety of soldiers when performing logistical and combat tasks in any terrain and season.
PROTECTOR is capable of performing a variety of tasks: transporting ammunition or equipment, evacuating the wounded, using it as a platform for a robotic combat module, mobile electronic warfare and electronic warfare systems, etc. This remote-controlled platform has a load capacity of up to 700 kg and a range of up to 400 km.
Equipped with a powerful internal combustion engine, it demonstrates high cross-country ability, and all-wheel drive allows you to overcome significant obstacles and fords. RunFlat wheels provide the ability to continue moving even when damaged.
“In fact, this is a new branch of the development of ground robotic complexes – a full-sized unmanned vehicle. These are new opportunities for our soldiers, namely, performing dangerous tasks without risk to the personnel. It is important that technology moves closer to the trenches, so that the innovative tools of war work more for and for the soldiers. VOPs must be strengthened as much as possible with robotic systems”, – noted Deputy Minister of Defense Valery Churkin.
