An additional 40 cameras for recording traffic violations have been launched in Ukraine

On March 24, an additional 40 complexes of automatic recording of traffic violations were put into operation on the roads of Ukraine. About this reported Oleksiy Biloshitskyi, First Deputy Chief of the Patrol Police Department,

36 cameras have been installed in new locations, and 4 more will resume operation. In addition, in Lviv, two complexes that record speeding will also begin to detect violations of traffic rules and stops on the public transport lane.

New cameras appeared in 12 regions: Lviv, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Ternopil, Cherkasy and Chernihiv. You can get detailed information about the location of the cameras find on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

We will remind that in 2024, owners of premium cars paid 220 million hryvnias in transport tax – 37% more than in 2023. The number of payers increased from 7,393 to 10,217. Individuals contributed 136.2 million hryvnias, legal entities – 83.5 million hryvnias. The largest receipts were recorded in Kyiv – 62.2 million hryvnias, which is almost a third of the total amount.

A tax of 25,000 hryvnias is paid by owners of cars not older than five years, if their average market value exceeds 375 minimum wages (2.66 million hryvnias in 2024, 3 million hryvnias in 2025).
