The Ministry of Digital Affairs is preparing to launch an AI agent on the “Diya” portal

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine is preparing to launch the beta version of the AI agent on the Diya portal. About it during the DOU Day conference reported Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation.

The new intelligent assistant will function as a chatbot built on a large language model and will respond to user queries in a live conversation format. At the same time, its capabilities are not limited to providing information.

According to Fedorov, users will be able to find out, for example, the location of TsNAPs or the list of documents for traveling abroad, as well as order government services in plain text.

“It will be enough to simply write: “send me a certificate of income for 2023″, and AI will automatically find the necessary information in the register and send the document”, the minister explained.

The solution is part of the large-scale strategy of the digital agency to transform “Diya” into a full-fledged AI agent. Special emphasis is placed on simplifying complex administrative procedures. For example, to submit an application for compensation for damaged property due to shelling, it will be enough to write about it in the chat. The system itself will request the necessary photos, create an application, check the information in the relevant registers and submit the documents to the commission.

Fedorov also added that over time, voice interaction with government services will become the standard, gradually replacing traditional interfaces.

We will remind you that in March of this year, the Ministry of Digitization began the development of the first large-scale Ukrainian-language LLM. This model is designed to help businesses and government agencies launch localized AI solutions faster, more conveniently, and more economically.
