The Ministry of Education and Science has adopted a list of specialties for which education will not be recognized in Ukraine

The Ministry of Education and Science made a decision regarding specialties that will not be recognized in Ukraine. We are talking about five fields of bachelor’s and master’s degrees obtained in the temporarily occupied territories. About this reported Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi.

“The draft of the act has been sent to the Cabinet of Ministers for consideration. It is currently being finalized with the Secretariat of the CMU. The regulation provides for the definition of a list of specialties that will not be recognized in Ukraine. These are specialties related to military specialties, law, cyber security, state security, theology. Everything else will be recognized.” – noted Lisovyi.

The minister also emphasized that the results of studies in these specialties at the master’s level will not be recognized either.

We will remind that on July 2, 2024, the government simplified the admission conditions for applicants from the temporarily occupied territories – they need to pass an interview in only three subjects.
