“On May 23, at 10:40, the military of the Russian Federation, encroaching on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, launched a missile strike with 5 missiles from the S-300 air defense system on the city of Kharkiv. As a result of this shelling, 28 citizens were injured, of which 7 were killed. All the dead were civilians In addition, a private enterprise, an infrastructure facility, and administrative premises were damaged. however, there are no casualties”, – noted Tymoshko.
According to the police chief, destruction and casualties among the civilian population were also recorded in other settlements of the region, in particular, 11 people were injured, cars and buildings were damaged in Lubotyn. 8 people were injured in Dergachy. A 65-year-old man was killed in the village of Ridkodub, two elderly women were wounded in the village of Zolochiv, a 41-year-old woman was stabbed in the village of Prikolotne, and an 11-year-old boy was injured in the village of Ryasne.
For information “Ukrzaliznytsia”, in addition to shelling residential areas, Russian troops attacked the civilian railway infrastructure of Kharkiv region at night. As a result of the shelling, tracks, buildings and idle rolling stock were damaged, including freight cars and an electric train car.
