The Ministry of Health is preparing reservation lists at the request of the Ministry of Defense

The Ministry of Health has received a request from the Ministry of Defense and the Command of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding the de-booking of individual medical workers who are in need. About this reported press office of the Ministry of Health.

Currently, experts of the ministry in cooperation with regional departments of health care are conducting consultations to form lists of persons who are planned to be booked. The Ministry of Health notes that in order to meet the needs of the Armed Forces and the defense sector in terms of medical personnel, a mechanism was created to reserve individual specialists who are needed.

“At the beginning of the year, the Government allowed the reservation of 100% of medical workers of state and communally owned health care facilities, public health facilities, institutions that carry out forensic medical and forensic psychiatric expertise, blood centers, for whom work in the relevant facilities is the main place of work.”, says the message.

For other categories of medical professionals working in medical facilities, the current booking restrictions remain in force. Previously, institutions recognized as critically important could reserve no more than 50% of conscripted men, and an increase in this percentage was allowed only by the decision of the Minister of Defense.
