Sibiga announces opening of 50 new vacancies in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga announced the opening of 50 vacancies for young specialists in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the aim of attracting new talents to the diplomatic service. He reported this in his posts on Facebook.

He noted that one of his main personnel priorities in his new position is to create opportunities for young people in the field of diplomacy.

“One of the first priorities of personnel changes in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which I announced to my colleagues after assuming the position of minister, was to attract young people to the diplomatic service. Now we are taking concrete steps in this direction and opening the doors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to talented young people who should become our generation of victory. They are the ones in 10 years they will determine the face of our diplomacy”, – noted Sybiga.

The minister said that 50 vacancies for young specialists on the first steps of a diplomatic career will appear on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the near future: attachés and leading specialists. These positions are for those who are eager to join the team and help the country at this critical time.

Sibiga stressed that the modern Ministry of Foreign Affairs should be open to new ideas and diverse talents, especially those with knowledge of rare foreign languages. He also noted that war veterans and veterans with combat experience are welcome as part of the new staffing, as well as representatives from different regions of Ukraine.

To participate in the competition, candidates must know at least two foreign languages. Requirements for an attaché include a master’s degree, and for leading specialists – a bachelor’s degree, and the specialty can be not only specialized.

It will be recalled that Andriy Sybiga was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs after serving as the first deputy of Dmytro Kuleba since April 2023. Before joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sybiga worked in the Office of the President of Ukraine, where he was responsible for foreign policy and the development of strategic partnerships.
