The NBU excluded the credit union “Dovira” from the register of financial institutions

National Bank of Ukraine passed the decision to cancel the license of the Dovira credit union and exclude it from the State Register of Financial Institutions. The relevant decision was made by the Committee for Supervision and Regulation of Non-Banking Financial Services Markets.
The cancellation of the license took place at the initiative of the union itself. The procedure was carried out in accordance with the special procedure in force during martial law. The credit union voluntarily decided to stop its activity on the financial market.
Until the cancellation of the license, “Trust” had the right to provide several types of financial services, in particular, lending with funds and bank metals, as well as attracting such assets with the obligation to return them to depositors.
At the beginning of March 2025, the assets of the “Trust” union amounted to 553 thousand hryvnias, which was equal to only 0.04% of the total volume of the credit union market of Ukraine. Its obligations to clients for the same period amounted to 190,000 hryvnias — 0.02% of the total market.
Credit unions that do not have contractual obligations to members to attract contributions (deposits/deposits) to deposit accounts may, during the period of martial law, submit an application to the National Bank for cancellation of the license to carry out activities and exclusion from the State Register of Financial Institutions.
