The number of vacancies with housing for employees is increasing in Ukraine

In Ukraine, the number of vacancies in which employers offer housing to employees is increasing. Since the beginning of 2025, about 2,000 such proposals have already been submitted, informs State Employment Service.

For the same period in 2024, this indicator was approximately 1,500, which is 30% less. In general, the number of vacancies with housing amounted to 3,500 throughout 2024. The State Employment Service explains this dynamic by the fact that the number of vacancies on the labor market significantly exceeds the number of officially registered unemployed, so employers are actively looking for additional incentives to attract staff.

More than 230,000 active offers are published daily on the Unified Job Portal of the State Employment Service, while the number of registered job seekers is about 127,000.

Most vacancies with housing are offered in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. Since the beginning of the year, 330 such proposals have been received in the capital, of which 148 remain relevant. In the Kyiv region, 276 vacancies with provision of housing have been submitted, currently 132 remain open.

Among the other regions where there is increased activity according to this indicator are Poltava (67 vacancies), Dnipropetrovsk (72) and Khmelnytskyi regions (68). The smallest number of such offers is recorded in the frontline regions.

The only area where stable employment growth is currently recorded is public administration and defense. The number of people employed in this sector reached 2.6 million people, which is 23.8% of the total employed population. This growth is associated with large-scale mobilization into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
