The number of people killed as a result of the Russian shelling of Odesa in the evening of April 29 increased to 5 people.
About this reported Oleg Kiper, head of Odesa regional administration.
“Unfortunately, a man born in 1960 who was injured during a rocket attack died in the hospital“, – noted Kiper.
According to him, 23 victims continue to be treated in the city’s medical facilities. 8 people are in serious condition, 4 of them are in extremely serious condition, including a 4-year-old girl.
“Our doctors do everything possible to help them“, Kiper emphasized.
Among the wounded is also former deputy from the “Party of Regions” and president of the Odesa Law Academy Serhiy Kivalov, co-author of the scandalous “Kivalov-Kolesnichenko law”, which significantly expanded the use of regional languages.

Russian troops attacked Odessa in the evening of April 29. According to the previous one information The Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Russians used ballistic missiles. 28 injured were reported, including two children and a pregnant woman.
As a result of the strike, residential buildings and the palace of the Odessa Law Academy, known as “Harry Potter’s Castle”, were damaged. The Defense Forces of Ukraine reported that traces of shrapnel were found at the site of the shelling, probably from ammunition intended for the destruction of personnel.
