Russian troops shelled the residential infrastructure in Nechvladavka and Kupyansk of the Kharkiv region with anti-aircraft missiles. As a result of the strikes, people died and others were injured. About this reported Oleg Sinegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
“The Russian army carried out an airstrike on the village of Nechvladavka in the Kupyan district, using 3 anti-aircraft missiles. As a result of the shelling, an 80-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman were killed, whose body was recovered by rescuers from the rubble of a private house.”, says the message.
An 88-year-old woman, a 69-year-old man, and women aged 67 and 83 received injuries of varying severity. Qualified medical assistance is provided to all victims.
As a result of shelling in Kupyansk, more than ten residential buildings were damaged. A 56-year-old woman was injured, but she refused hospitalization. A 34-year-old man experienced an acute stress reaction.
“In the city of Kupyansk, as a result of the impact, a fire broke out on the territory of a private home. A residential building with an area of 150 square meters was on fire. According to preliminary data, 2 people were injured. The units of the State Emergency Service were working at the scene. The fires were quickly extinguished.”, — clarified in the State Emergency Service of Kharkiv region.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kupyan District Prosecutor’s Office of Kharkiv Oblast, investigators of the Kupyan District Police Department of the National Security Service in Kharkiv Oblast opened a pre-trial investigation under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes).
