Syrskyi: The Russian Federation is increasing the grouping of troops in the Kharkiv region, but they are not enough for a breakthrough
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that Russian troops continue to build up their groups in the direction of Kharkiv region. However, even with these efforts, the defense is not breached.
Syrsky noted that the Russian forces continue to concentrate their troops in the areas of Strylech-Lyptsi and Vovchansk, by transferring additional regiments and brigades. However, according to him, these forces are not enough to carry out a full-scale offensive.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine will strengthen their defense through the transfer of reserves and the creation of ammunition reserves. This made it possible to effectively hit the enemy and reduce his offensive capabilities.
Syrsky noted that the Russians have changed their tactics, switching to hitting Ukrainian positions with artillery fire and airstrikes.
“Rthe Ossetian soldiers switched to the tactics of defeating our positions with artillery fire and KAB strikes. In these conditions, the physical destruction of the carrier aircraft of air defense systems, UAVs of scouts and fire adjusters, the protection of their troops by EW, masking and the use of mock-ups become of primary importance“, the head of the Armed Forces said.
