The Russian Foreign Ministry announced its readiness to transfer a draft peace agreement to Ukraine after the prisoner exchange is completed

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lavrov, said that after the completion of the large-scale exchange of prisoners in the “1,000 for 1,000” format, Moscow will be ready to hand over to Ukraine a draft document on the “long-term resolution of the crisis.” This is reported by the Russian mass media.

“Russia will be ready to hand over to Kyiv a draft document listing the conditions for reaching a long-term agreement on the settlement of the crisis immediately after the exchange of prisoners is completed”, – said Lavrov.

He noted that the Russian side will continue the development of documents with “conditions and requirements” that it considers necessary for reaching agreements with Ukraine, “despite the provocation.”

“Moscow considers UAV attacks on civilian targets in Russia as a consequence of the support of Ukrainian Nazis by some European countries”, – added the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

As a reminder, on May 23, 390 people returned to Ukraine as part of the first stage of the prisoner exchange. It is about 270 prisoners of war of the Armed Forces and 120 civilians. Among those released are servicemen of the Armed Forces, in particular the Naval Forces, Airborne Assault Forces, Territorial Defense Forces, as well as soldiers of the National Guard and the State Border Service.
