The Russians hit Sumy region with air bombs, killing three people

The troops of the Russian Federation dropped three guided aerial bombs on a two-story apartment building in the village of Myropyllya, Sumy district. As a result of the attack, 3 people died: their bodies were recovered from the rubble. About this informs Office of the Prosecutor General.

“Three people died as a result of an enemy airstrike on a residential building in Sumy Oblast – an investigation has been launched”, says the message.

Under the procedural leadership of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of war crimes that resulted in the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Prosecutors, together with law enforcement officers, are documenting the consequences of the shelling. The investigation is being conducted by the SBU Office in the Sumy region.

We will remind that on the night of February 7, 2025, the enemy launched an attack using 112 “Shahed” attack UAVs and various types of simulator drones. Launches were carried out from the territory of the Russian Federation, in particular from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Bryansk and Shatalovo.
