The Secretary of the National Security Council named the condition under which Putin can order the use of nuclear weapons: the details

Oleksandr Lytvynenko, the Ukrainian Secretary of the National Security Council, warned about the possible use of tactical nuclear weapons by Vladimir Putin in the event of a catastrophic defeat of Russian forces in the war with Ukraine. His statements were answers to journalists’ questions during a briefing in Kyiv.
About this informs The Times.
Responding to a question about the conditions under which Vladimir Putin can order the use of tactical nuclear weapons, the Secretary of the National Security Council Oleksandr Lytvynenko stated the following: “We do not rule out such a scenario in the event of a catastrophic defeat of Russian troops on the Ukrainian front.”
The Secretary of the National Security Council believes that it is doubtful that Putin would use strategic nuclear weapons, which would almost certainly trigger the third world war.
“He wants to live”, – he declared.
Lytvynenko also said that Russia’s defeat on the battlefield in Ukraine would not automatically lead to the use of nuclear weapons by Moscow, as Putin could try to convince his people that such a reversal is a “victory.”
