The Tax Service has published a schedule of documentary inspections of businesses

State Tax Service of Ukraine made public plan-schedule of scheduled document inspections of taxpayers for 2025. A total of 4,759 taxpayers are scheduled to be checked next year.

The agency noted that changes to the schedule plan can be made on a monthly basis, taking into account force majeure circumstances, as well as safe conditions for inspections. According to the Register of Enforcement Proceedings, more than 25,000 enforcement proceedings were opened for business tax debts in 11 months of 2024. Most of such proceedings were recorded in Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk region.

During the first nine months of 2024, the State Tax Service conducted more than 5,000 documentary checks of individual entrepreneurs. Although the number of inspections decreased by a quarter compared to the same period last year, the amount of fines increased fivefold.

In addition, tax officials carried out 16,000 camera inspections of entrepreneurs who work with excise goods, charging them fines in the amount of UAH 9.5 million. During the actual “on-the-spot” inspections, about 9,000 more decisions were issued, according to which fines totaling UAH 132.2 million were imposed.
