The Russian Federation attacked the Dnipro and Zaporozhye with ballistics: it is known about the victims among civilians and the destruction of buildings
On September 2, the city of Dnipro was once again targeted by Russian troops, who launched a missile attack on the regional center. By message Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak, as a result of this attack, one resident was killed and three others were injured.
“I express my condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased”, – noted Lysak in his address.
The attack began around 11:30 p.m., when the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported a threat of using ballistic missiles. After the explosion, damage to residential buildings was recorded in one of the districts of the city.
Serhii Lysak also added that more detailed information about the consequences of the strike will be made public later.
A video with very strong explosions immediately appeared on social networks. After them, a tall column of smoke was noticed over the city.
We will remind that on August 26, during a massive attack on Ukraine, Russian troops hit a summer cottage cooperative in the Dnipro district, where one person died. And at the beginning of July, another rocket attack on the Dnipro took the lives of four people, and another 34 people were injured.
Also, an 8-year-old boy and a 38-year-old woman were killed as a result of a Russian missile attack on Zaporizhzhia on September 2, around 11:00 p.m. About this reported Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhya OVA.
In addition to the dead, two residents of the city were injured: a 43-year-old man and a 12-year-old girl, who is currently in intensive care.
The attack caused significant damage to the city’s infrastructure: one building was partially destroyed, and the blast wave and debris damaged surrounding high-rise buildings, leaving residents homeless and showing the extent of the destruction.
