The United States imposed sanctions on Chinese companies that helped Iran produce drones and missiles

The United States government has imposed sanctions on six companies registered in China that helped supply Iran with sensitive components for the production of drones and ballistic missiles. About this it is said in the official statement of the US State Department.
“This is part of President Trump’s campaign to put maximum pressure on the Iranian regime and is aimed at disrupting the efforts of Iran’s Pishtazan Kavosh Gostar Boshra (PKGB) to rebuild its procurement network and continue receiving critical parts from foreign suppliers.” – says the message.
The State Department emphasized that the United States will use all available means to detect and stop the expansion of Iran’s drone and missile programs that are destabilizing the Middle East and beyond.
“We will continue to act against the sophisticated schemes Iran uses to conceal the acquisition of sensitive technology for its missile and UAV programs. These programs produce missiles and drones that Iran uses against our allies and exports to its terrorist puppet groups and Russia.” – stated in the statement.
According to the US Treasury Department (OFAC), the sanctions list includes the companies “Dingtai Industrial Technology Co Limited”, “Yonghongan Trade Limited”, “Hong Kong Tianle International Co Limited”, “DDC Develop Industry Hong Kong Limited”, “Shenzhen Zhiyu International Trade Co Ltd” and “JP Oriental International Holdings Limited”.
They are accused of procuring drone components on behalf of Pishtazan Kavosh Gostar Boshra (PKGB), an Iranian company already on OFAC’s sanctions list, and its subsidiary Narin Sepehr Mobin Isatis (NSMI).
As a result of this decision, all property and assets of the said companies located in the US or controlled by US persons are frozen and must be reported to OFAC. The sanctions also apply to any entities in which the blocked companies directly or indirectly own 50% or more. Violation of US sanctions may subject both US and foreign persons to civil or criminal penalties.
