The Ukrainian president noted that he held productive and constructive negotiations with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and received the first version of a potential agreement on natural resources.
“Our team has been given an initial draft of the agreement from the United States regarding the partnership between our countries. I am very interested in having our team study this document carefully, and we will do our best to work it out and sign it as soon as possible.” – said Zelensky.
According to him, the agreement can be concluded during the Munich conference at the end of this week.
“The United States remains our key partner. We will make every effort to carefully consider all the details of the document and be in time for the Munich conference, because we do not want to lose precious time.” – emphasized the president.
At the same time, Zelensky clarified that the issue of natural resources in the Ukrainian territories occupied by Russia was not discussed.
