Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiga confirmed the rotation of Ukrainian ambassadors

Andriy Sybiga, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine confirmed, that personnel changes are already taking place in the diplomatic corps of the country, in accordance with the previously announced statements of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi. Sybiga said this during the broadcast of the “Edyny Novyni” telethon.

The head of the foreign policy department noted that Ukraine will intensify diplomatic activities in July with the aim of increasing sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation from the international community. In this regard, according to him, the diplomatic service must respond to new challenges and adapt both its approaches and arguments in accordance with the geopolitical situation.

“The geopolitical situation requires the diplomatic service to find new arguments and approaches adapted to the realities. Therefore, the president has already made certain personnel decisions regarding the heads of some foreign institutions, because the measure is very simple: the result.” – emphasized the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

He also informed about the planned meeting with the heads of Ukrainian diplomatic institutions at the end of this month. According to Sybiga, before this meeting, new personnel decisions aimed at strengthening the effectiveness of the foreign policy service will be adopted.

“Before the meeting of the ambassadors, which was approved by the President of Ukraine, there will be relevant personnel decisions, which will be aimed specifically at strengthening the diplomatic service of Ukraine.” he noted.

According to the government’s expectations, the main result of the work of the new and current heads of Ukrainian embassies should be the provision of military aid, the mobilization of humanitarian and economic resources, as well as the effective support of Ukrainian citizens abroad.
