The USA and the United Kingdom have signed a comprehensive trade agreement.

The US has signed a trade deal with Great Britain, currently the only country that previously had tariffs in place. Donald Trump named this document is “full and comprehensive”.
“Given our long history and shared commitment, we are honored that the UK is our first deal to announce,” – emphasized the head of the White House.
According to the president, this is a “full and comprehensive” agreement that should strengthen ties between Washington and London for many years to come.
In turn, the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Keir Starmer, noted that the agreement is based on “extremely important” industries – steel, aluminum and automobile industry, but certain details still need to be agreed. In accordance with information on the website of the British government, it is expected to reduce the American tariffs on British cars from 27.5% to 10%, as well as the complete abolition of the 25% tariff on steel and aluminum.
The US will open the market to British farmers, including a quota of 13,000 metric tons of beef. The White House noted that the agreement significantly expands access to the British market, creating opportunities for the export of American products worth 5 billion dollars.
