Three deputies from Khmelnytskyi region suspected of false declaration of over 25 million hryvnias

In the Khmelnytskyi region, three deputies of the city councils were charged with falsely declaring property worth more than 25 million hryvnias. About this informs National Police of Ukraine.

These are representatives of the Kamianets-Podilska, Slavutska and Shepetivska city councils. Undeclared assets include real estate, ultralight aircraft, land, corporate rights, cars, cash and bank accounts.

The facts of the violations were discovered by the operatives of the strategic investigations department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi region. Thus, in his declarations for 2021 and 2022, the deputy of the Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council did not indicate assets of more than 5.6 million and 3.5 million hryvnias, respectively. In particular, he did not declare an ultralight aircraft.

The deputy of the Slavut city council did not include in the declaration for 2023 information about non-residential premises and about the receipt by the company of a relative of financial assistance in the amount of two million hryvnias. The total amount of undeclared property is almost 7 million hryvnias.

In her declarations for 2022 and 2023, the deputy of the Shepetivska City Council did not show the presence of monetary assets – cash, amounts on accounts and corporate rights in the amount of more than 9.2 million hryvnias, of which 3.8 million are cash.

On the basis of the collected evidence, the investigators of the investigative department of the GUNP in Khmelnytskyi region informed all three deputies about the suspicion of h. 1 Art. 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (declaration of false information). Procedural management in criminal proceedings is carried out by the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
