Trump had a phone conversation with Putin about Ukraine and Iran

US President Donald Trump had a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin. It lasted about 75 minutes. During the conversation, politicians discussed the situation around Iran and Ukraine. This is the American leader reported in his social network Truth Social.
According to the US president, during the conversation they talked about Ukraine’s operation to shoot down Russian planes:
“We discussed Ukraine’s attack on Russian aircraft based at bases, as well as various other attacks that have occurred on both sides. It was a good conversation, but not one that will lead to immediate peace. President Putin has been very firm in saying that he will have to respond to the recent attack on airfields.”
Trump noted that Iran’s nuclear program was also among the topics of discussion. He told Putin that Iran should not get nuclear weapons. Both leaders agreed on this issue. Putin, in particular, offered his participation in the negotiations with Iran and suggested that it could be useful for their speedy conclusion.
“In my opinion, Iran is in no rush to make a decision on this very important issue, and we need a final answer very soon.” – summarized Donald Trump.
