Trump wants to exchange Ukraine’s rare earth metals to help the United States

US President Donald Trump expressed his interest in signing an agreement with Ukraine to obtain rare earth metals and other resources in exchange for the supply of weapons. About this informs AFP.
“We want to conclude an agreement with Ukraine, in which they will guarantee what we give them with their rare earth metals and other things.” – said the US president.
He also expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that Europe provides less military aid to Ukraine than the United States.
“We’re separated by an ocean. It’s more important to them than it is to us. But they’re far behind us in funding and they should at least pay the same.” – emphasized the American leader.
We will remind that earlier in the “victory plan” President Zelensky offered strategic partners joint protection and investment in the production and use of critical resources in Ukraine.
According to Forbes, the total value of minerals in Ukraine reaches $15 trillion. At the same time, more than 70% of the total amount falls on three regions — Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Luhansk.
