Ukraine has become part of the European Alliance of Startup Nations

Ukrainian startup fund announced about joining ESNA — an international community that promotes the development of Europe’s innovation ecosystem. The European Alliance of Startup Nations (ESNA) unites 26 EU countries, Iceland and Ukraine, creating conditions for the innovative growth and development of startups. The main goal of the initiative is to make Europe a leading center of global innovation by introducing common standards and effective practices.

Ukraine’s membership in ESNA opens access to key resources and programs of the alliance, in particular to eight standards that will help in creating a modern startup ecosystem. These standards include access to finance, regulatory innovation and support for start-up development as a foundation for economic growth.

Among the main directions of assistance that Ukraine will receive from ESNA are the exchange of best practices in the implementation of the EU Startup Development Strategy, technical support for the implementation of reforms, increasing the competitiveness of the startup ecosystem, and monitoring progress in achieving the set goals.

“Ukraine continues to demonstrate its resilience, innovative spirit and readiness to be an important player on the European technological arena. Together with ESNA, we are shaping a future without borders for startups and innovations!”, — said the Ukrainian Startup Fund.

Membership in the alliance also provides Ukraine with new opportunities, including access to European investment programs, international expertise, expanding partner networks and increasing the global influence of Ukrainian technologies.
