Ukraine has created its own analogue of the Chinese Mavic drone

Ukrainian engineers have developed a domestic analogue of the Chinese Mavic drone, which is widely used for reconnaissance and dropping ammunition on enemy equipment and positions. About this reported Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
Brave1 cluster members have been working on the creation of a new drone since June of this year. Currently, three versions of Ukrainian analogues are already in use at the front – “Linza”, “Zum” and “Shmavik”.
According to Fedorov, these drones are specially adapted for the conditions of war: they are equipped with an integrated communication system, resistant to enemy radio-electronic warfare (EW), have an automatic landing function and a “return to home” mode. The minister also noted that the Ukrainian military actively uses new developments and leaves positive feedback.
“Mavic is one of the most popular drones on the front line, it’s simple, efficient and cheap. This is consumable material for the military, the unit can lose 5 such “birds” per day. At the same time, “maviks” are difficult and expensive to import, so creating a Ukrainian analogue is a top priority”, – stressed Fedorov.
