Ukraine has resumed mandatory submission of statistical reporting for businesses

On July 5, a law comes into force that restores the obligation of respondents who are subject to state statistical monitoring to submit statistical reports. About this reported State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

The State Statistics Service emphasized that the restoration of the systematic collection of statistical data is critically important for the objective analysis of the state of enterprises, monitoring of the labor market, and the study of structural changes in the economy and society.

For those respondents who did not have the opportunity to submit reports during the martial law, a three-month transition period is provided – until October 5, 2025. At this time, reporting for previous periods can be submitted without penalty. The State Statistics Service promised to provide updated instructions, clarifications on filling out reports, as well as information on technical support for respondents in the near future.

As a reminder, on June 18, the Verkhovna Rada adopted amendments to the legislation, which oblige enterprises, institutions, organizations and entrepreneurs to once again submit statistical and financial reports to the state statistics authorities. The relevant law “On the protection of the interests of the subjects of reporting and other documents during the period of martial law or a state of war” was signed by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi on July 3 and published the next day.
