Ukraine’s GDP has grown by 4% this year

In the first 11 months of 2024, the economy of Ukraine grew by 4% [±0.5%]. In November, the GDP growth rate slowed down somewhat, reaching 0.9% compared to the same period in 2023. About this reported press service of the Ministry of Economy.
“The drivers of economic growth in 2024 remain the transport and construction industries, processing and domestic trade. State support programs played their role – grant programs for processing, creation and development of business, affordable lending of 5-7-9%, “eOselya” and others within the framework of the “Made in Ukraine” policy. Also, the increase in purchases of Ukrainian defense industry products stimulates the growth of mechanical engineering”, – noted the Minister of Economy Yuliya Svyridenko.
In November, several industries showed positive dynamics. Transport remained stable thanks to the work of the Ukrainian Maritime Corridor. The construction industry received a boost from government support programs, and domestic trade maintained steady volumes due to stable supply and demand.
The manufacturing industry benefited from business recovery programs, access to imported electricity, and the use of alternative energy sources. The mining industry also grew due to the commissioning of new gas wells.
