The Ukrainian defense industry received a new tool for integration into the European security system — the ASD Connect platform. Its purpose is to establish direct links between Ukrainian defense manufacturers and European companies. About this reported Ukrainian Arms Council.
“The ASD Connect platform is designed for companies of any size – from small to large. It allows you to place requests for supplies, find partners for joint projects, attract investments and participate in grant programs.” – says the message of the organization.
Currently, the resource works in a test format, in which 250 European organizations participate. Full launch is planned for September 2025. By the end of the year, it is planned to attract more than 1,000 European companies and at least 150 Ukrainian manufacturers.
We will remind you that on July 7, the DOT-Chain Defense digital system became operational in Ukraine, which significantly simplifies and speeds up the logistics of supplying weapons to the Defense Forces. This online weapons marketplace was created to respond quickly to the needs of the front.
10 brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are participating in the pilot stage. The Ministry of Defense allocated UAH 1 billion to the Defense Procurement Agency for the implementation of the project. Thanks to the IT system of the State Rear Operator, brigades can order FPV drones, and in the future – other types of UAVs, electronic warfare equipment and robotic systems.
