Ukrenergo has launched an application that shows the situation with electricity supply anywhere in the country
“Ukrenergo” has launched a new mobile application that allows real-time monitoring of the electricity supply situation anywhere in Ukraine. About this informs the press service of the company.
The development of the service was carried out with the financial support of the Danish government. Thanks to this partnership, it was possible to create a convenient tool that will help Ukrainians receive up-to-date information about the need for economical electricity consumption, as well as about current hourly or emergency shutdowns in the selected region.
“The responsibility for the power outage lies with the actions of the Russian Federation. It takes time to repair and restore the system, and we want citizens to receive the results of our work “first-hand” – directly from the Ukrenergo Dispatch Center.
It is convenient for people from the point of view of understanding the current situation in the energy system, and for us it is the most efficient way to communicate directly with the consumer. This is important if there is a need to call on residents of a certain region or country in general to turn off powerful electrical appliances to help the power system.” – said Vitaliy Zaichenko, a member of the board of NEC “Ukrenergo”.
Currently, the “Ukrenergo” mobile application is already available in the Play Market and on other digital platforms. In the future, its functionality will be expanded.
