The Ministry of Defense stated that there will be no electronic summonses without the adoption of the law

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense plans to implement electronic summonses for conscripts only after the adoption of the relevant legislation.

About this stated Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization.

According to Chernogorenko, there are currently no conditions for discussing this issue, as the current legislation does not contain relevant provisions. She also emphasized the need to adopt the relevant law, after which an analysis of the possibilities of technical implementation of electronic subpoenas will be conducted.

The ministry is also actively developing interaction with state registers for automatic storage of information about conscripts. It is planned to further deepen cooperation with other databases in order to simplify the process of granting deferments, in particular for persons with disabilities and parents of three or more children who already have known data in state registers.

We would like to remind you that in the “Reserve+” application, which is used to keep records of conscripts, it is planned to introduce new functions, in particular, online recruiting and training for this category of citizens.
