JSC “Ukrainian Defense Industry” (UOP) concluded a memorandum of cooperation with the Danish weapons company “WeibelScientific”. About this informs press service of the Ukrainian company.
WeibelScientific is a Danish company specializing in the development and production of radar stations using the technology of continuous signal emission.
Ukroboronprom notes that this agreement will strengthen Ukraine’s defense capability and contribute to the integration of the national defense-industrial complex into the European innovation base.
The planned cooperation with Danish partners includes the possibility of creating service centers in Ukraine for maintenance and repair of modern Weibel radar systems, joint development of the latest technologies, establishment of a joint venture, as well as cooperation with educational institutions of Ukraine and Denmark.
“This partnership will contribute not only to the urgent needs of the Defense Forces today, but also helps to further develop our radar industry. It is about the opportunity to develop new radar stations that combine lessons learned on the battlefield with advanced technologies.” – said the general director of “Ukroboronprom” Oleg Gulyak.
