Volodymyr Zelenskyy joined the celebrations on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi took part in the celebrations dedicated to the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Activities took place near the landmark “Batkivshchyna-Maty” memorial, which is a symbol of the stability and strength of the Ukrainian people.
“Thank you to the Ukrainian people, to each of you. To everyone who writes the new history of independent Ukraine with blood, tears and fire. He writes everywhere: in Kharkiv, in Sumy, in Zaporizhzhia, and in the Kherson region. On difficult areas, such as Kurakhivskyi, Pokrovskyi, in the hottest areas where Ukraine is fighting – all our soldiers. Together you are a force, together you are the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”, – emphasized the president.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi also emphasized the importance of the contribution of everyone who does the possible and the impossible for the sake of preserving freedom and independence.
“In our history, there are two dates that stand next to each other and are connected – December 5 and December 6. Two dates that have a different flavor. Yesterday was 30 years since the signing of the Budapest Memorandum. Today we clearly understand that the real, the first , the most reliable guarantor of our security is the Armed Forces. Thank you for this, and may death pass by the brave. Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Glory to Ukraine.”, – he noted.
