Volodymyr Zelenskyy made personnel reshuffles in diplomatic missions

According to the information, a number of ambassadors were dismissed, including: Andrii Pravednyk (ambassador to Rwanda), Andrii Taran (Slovenia), Petr Beshta (Lithuania), Serhii Korsunskyi (Japan), Vasyl Gamyanin (Indonesia and representative to ASEAN), Emine Japarovu ( representative at international organizations in Vienna) and Yevgenia Filipenko (representative at the UN Office in Geneva).
Separately, Pavel Ryabikin was dismissed from the position of Ambassador of Ukraine to China, where he was appointed in April 2023. Prior to that, Ryabikin headed the State Customs Service and the Ministry of Strategic Industries. Also, Serhii Kyslyts was dismissed from the post of permanent representative of Ukraine at the UN and ambassador to the Bahamas and Trinidad and Tobago.
The President also appointed new ambassadors. Vyacheslav Yatsyuk headed the diplomatic mission of Ukraine in Rwanda, Yuliya Fediv became the ambassador to the Philippines, Olga Nikitchenko – to Lithuania, Fedir Sandor – to Hungary, Petro Beshta – to Slovenia, and Vasyl Gamyanin – to the Democratic Republic of Congo. Yevhenii Tsymbalyuk became the representative of Ukraine at the UN Office in Geneva.
In addition, Zelenskyy replaced the head of the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO. Iryna Borovets was dismissed, and Maryana Betsa, who previously held the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, was appointed in her place.
