Chinese President Xi Jinping held a video call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. It was about cooperation between Russia and China, rosZMI reports.
During the conversation, Putin and Xi discussed the prospects for strengthening the Russian-Chinese partnership and strategic cooperation. Putin noted that cooperation between Russia and China plays an important role in ensuring stability in the international arena.
“We coordinate our steps on other multilateral platforms as well – in the United Nations and its Security Council, the SCO, the Group of Twenty, APEC. We jointly advocate for the construction of a fairer multipolar world order, we work in the interests of ensuring indivisible security in the Eurasian space and in the world in general”, – said the Russian leader.
It will be recalled that earlier Xi Jinping and Putin agreed on the deepening of comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation, and declared that relations between China and the Russian Federation are entering “a new era”.
