Zaluzhnyi’s brother changed his military service to diplomatic service

Artur, the brother of the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the current ambassador of Ukraine to Great Britain, Valery Zaluzhnyi, switched from military service to diplomatic service. About this testify data of his electronic declaration.

Artur Zaluzhnyi currently works as an adviser at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was appointed to this position in 2024 and has a diplomatic passport. Artur Zaluzhnyi has not yet declared the salary for this position.

We will remind that after his resignation from the position of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhnyi was appointed the Ambassador of Ukraine to Great Britain. On July 3, he left for London to fulfill his duties.

Valery Zaluzhnyi became the third general whom Kyiv appointed as an ambassador. Before him, former Minister of Defense, retired lieutenant general Andriy Taran, as well as reserve major general Oleksandr Polishchuk were in the diplomatic service.
